The course’s key fundamentals will also cover handling and storing semen, signs of oestrus, heat detection methods, evaluating your own performance, anatomy and function of the bovine reproductive track, contra-indications to AI, legislation, welfare and biosecurity.
One tutor per up to six delegates, the 3-day course runs from 10:00 until 16:00. Practice DIY AI on mock-up uterus and barren cows. Learn through a combination of practical tuition and video demonstrations.
The course is LANTRA approved and it includes written and a practical exam, all of which delegates have to successfully pass.
