Farmers and vets need to plan training needs now. Once Lockdown is eased, Mendip Vets will be ready to roll out courses for vets and farmers from the Llandeilo office. So contact them and apply now in order to get training by the end of March 2021. Mendip Vets can also deliver the Vet Medicines course digitally.
The base at King Street, Llandeilo, is the hub from which Dr Sotirios Karvountzis runs his services for vets and farmers in Wales. Mendip Vets is a Farming Connect approved trainer and the application window is open until the end of June. He also works closely with Simply the Best and Julie Thomas.

“Opening up a base in Llandeilo is in recognition of the considerable workload we carry out here and will help us coordinate our training operations more efficiently. This comes in advance of the opening of a base at Green Ore, Somerset in 2021.

It’s important to contact Mendip Vets in the first instance to check costs. Then ensure that you are registered with Farming Connect to qualify for funding of up to 80% of the cost of training.
You’ll need an up to date ‘personal development plan’ (PDP) to help set out training goals. An existing PDP may need updating with new ‘goals’.
